Let the Breadth be xm and length be x+4

m

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(length +

breadth)

84 = 2(x + x + 4)

84/2 = 2x + 4

42 = 2x + 4

42 - 4 = 2x

38 = 2x

38/2 = x

19=x

Therefore breadth frec * tan g * l * e = 19mand length = x+4=19+4=23m.
