Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Length=(3x+2)

Breadth=(3x-2)

Area = Length * Breadth

= (3x+2)(3x-2)

= (3x)² - 2²                                               [∵ (a+b)(a-b)=a²-b²]

= 9x² - 4

So, the area of the rectangle in terms of x is 9x²-4 sq. units.

If x=20, area=9(20)²-4

=9(400)-4

=3600-4=3596 sq. units.
