11. The level of water in a measuring cylinder is at
12.5 ml. When a stone is lowered in it carefully,the new volume recorded is 21.0 ml . what is the volume of the stone ?[8.5 ml]​

V1 = 12.5 ml

when a stone is lowered, then the level of water in measuring cylinder = V2 = 21.0 ml.

Volume of stone = V2 - V1

V = 21.0 - 12.5

V = 8.5 ml
