11. The slant height of a cone with hemispherical

slant height , l = 5 cm

since , the cone has a hemispherical base then they both have equal radius .

so , radius of cone and hemisphere , r = 3.14 cm

we know that ,

l2 = r2 + h2

5 × 5= 3.14×3.14 + h2

25-3.14×3.14 = h2

25- 9.8596 = h2

sq. root 151404/10000=h

389.1/100 = h

3.891cm = h

then ,

height of the article H , = height of the cone + radius of the hemisphere

= 3.891 + 3.14

= 7.031cm

therefore , total height = 7.031cm
