11. The water level in a well was 20m below ground level. During the rainy season, rain water collected in different water tanks was drained into the well and the water level rises 5 m above the previous level. The wall of the well is 1m 20 cm high and a pulley is fixed at a height of 80 cm. Raghu wants to draw water from the well. Answer:

If water level is 20m

in rainy season it increases 5m

so now water level is 20+5=25m

height of wall

25+1.20=26.20m

now level of pulley=26m20cm+80cm=27m

so meter of rope may be 17 m

because there is only 2 m difference
