11 times a number increased by 2 is the same as 6 more than 9 times the number. Find the number.

here is the work i did for this one ((the number is 26!!)) :

                               SO......

11(x)+2=9(x+6)    ---------------->>      11(26)+2=9(26+6)

11x+2=9x+54                                  286+2 = 234+54

11x=9x+52                                      288    =     288      

2x=52

x=26
