According to the question,
F. B. D of block 6 kg
=> 6g - T = 6a
one string is fixed so acceleration = 0
=> T = 6g ......(1)
F. B. D of block 2 kg
=> T - 2g + T1 = 0 ..... (2)
From equation (1) and (2) we get,
put the value of equation (1) in equation (2)
=> 6g - 2g + T1 = 0
=> 4g + T1 = 0
=> T1 = 40 N
Therefore,
=> T1 = 40N
