For the resultant force of two forces inclined at 90 degrees we use the above given formula.

Here F1 = 4N

and F2 = 3N

Putting values un the formula, we get

$|f| = \sqrt{ {4}^{2} + {3}^{2} + 2.4.3.0} \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: (sin90 = 0) \\ \\ = \sqrt{16 + 9 + 0} \\ = \sqrt{25} \\ = 5$

Hence the resultant force is 5 N
