➺ 6x +8 = 7x +4

➺ 6x-7x = 4-8

➺ -x = -4

➺ x= 4

Numbers = 3x = 3×4 = 12

7x = 7×4= 28

Solution

Let's take the ratio in "X" .

After taking it will be - 3x and 7x .

Now,

According to the Question

3x+4/7x+4=1/2

=> 2(3x+4)=1(7x+4)

=> 6x-7x =4-8

=> -X=-4

=> X = 4

Then ,

the numbers are

=> 3x=3×4=12

=>7x=7×4=28

Hence, the numbers are 12 and 28 .
