11. Two persons C & D started traveling from A and B
which are 300 km apart, towards B and A respectively at
1.00 p.m. C travels at a constant speed of 30 kmph
whereas D doubles his speed every hour. If D reaches A in
37/8 hours, at what time did Cand o meet each other?
दो यात्री ओर ०, 300 किमी दूर स्थित स्थानों A व B से एक दूसरे की
ओर दोपहर 1:00 बजे चलना शुरु करते हैं। 230 किमी प्रति घण्टा की
नियत चाल से चलता है जबकि । प्रति घण्टे अपनी चाल में दोगुनी वृद्धि
करता है। यदि DA तक 37/8 घंटे में पहुँचता है, तो ( और एक दूसरे
से कब मिले
A. 4:30 p.m.
B.4:40pm.
C.5:00 p.m.

To Find :  what time did Cand o meet each other

A. 4:30 p.m.

B.4:40pm.

C.5:00 p.m.

D.5:10p,m.​

Solution:

D doubles his speed every hour.

D reaches A in  37/8 = 4  + 5/8 hours

Let say D's initial Speed =  D km/hr

Then speed in next hr = 2D km/hr then 4D km/hr , 8D km/hr , 16D km/hr

=> D + 2D + 4D + 8D + 16D(5/8)  = 300

=> 25D   = 300 km

=> D = 12

4             120      180           300

After 4 Hours

1 + 4 = 5  

5:00 p.m.  they meet each other
