11. Velocity of a particle at time t = 0 is 2 m/s. A constant acceleration of 2 m/s acts on the particle for 2
seconds at an angle of 60° with its initial velocity. Find the magnitude of velocity and displacement of
particle at the end oft = 2 s.

since acceleration is in 60 degree when we brake it

in y axis we get

 \sqrt{3}

as y axis acc.

so in 2 sec displacment is

s = ut + ( at^2)÷2

s = 0 + ( 6.92)÷2

s = 3.46 meter in y axis

v= u+at

v=0+2root3

v = 3.46 m/s

in x axis

u = 2 m/s

a = 2 cos 60

a = 1m/s^2

v = u+at

v= 2 + 1×2

v= 4m/s

and

s in x axis = ut + (at^2)÷2

s= 4 +2 = 6 meter
