Answer:

Phle bat uper wala answer galat h, u can verify from NCERT.........

1st of all Preferential adsorption occurs.

For ex:

  1. AgNo3 when mixed KI gives AgI now remaining ions in solution are K+, I-, No3- whereas Ag has been utilized or if present then in less amount. So formed sol I. e AgI having Ag+ and I- ions can adsorb either Ag+(very less present) or I-(present in appropriate amount becoz u added AgNo3 in KI's solution) due to preferential adsorption. So becoz I- is in appreciable amount so it will get adsorbed over AgI. and hence we get Agi/I- as our colloidal sol.

Now coming to ur question.....

2.When Fecl3 is added to excessive hot water than in this solution we get Fe(OH)3 or we can also write it Fe2O3. XH2O. Now this compound contain Fe+3 and OH- ion, therefore out of these two ions one can adsorb only again due to preferential adsorption. But the problem is that there is no source of OH-, so we don't have any other option except Fe+3 from FeCl3 so ur answer is Fe(OH)3/Fe+3.

Trick- Whi ion adsorb hoga jo Us ppt me present hoga i. e common ion(preferential adsorption) .

Bus thoda sa bda ho gya., but I hope this may help you ... Byeeeeee....
