Given: A (2,4), (1,10) and (-2,-2).(-2,10)

           B.(2,1),(-1.10) and (2:2).(-2,8)

           C (-2,4),(21,10) and (2,2)(-2,10)

           D. (2,4).(-1.10) and (2,2).(-2.10)

To find: The pair with equal slopes

Solution:

We start with the first pair of points, (2,4), (1,10) and (-2,-2).(-2,10)

Slope of first= 10-1/1-2= 9/-1=-9 and Slope of second= 10-(-2)/-2+2= 0

So this is not equal.

Now, we will find the slopes of (2,1),(-1.10) and (2,2).(-2,8)

Slope of first= 10-1/-1-2= 9/-3=-3 and Slope of second= 8-2/-2-2= 6/-4= 3/-2

So they are not equal.

Now, we take out the slope of (-2,4),(21,10) and (2,2)(-2,10)

Slope of first= 10-4/21+2= 6/23 and slope for second= 10-2/-2-2= 8/-4= -2

So slopes are not equal.

Slopes for points (2,4).(-1.10) and (2,2).(-2.10) are,

first slope = 10-4/-1-2= 6/-3=-2 and second slope =10-2/-2-2= 8/-4= -2

Option D with points (2,4).(-1.10) and (2,2).(-2.10) have equal slopes.
