Baking Soda is sodium bicarbonate which is NaHCO3.
Antacids are those bases or alkalis which reduce the acidity of our stomach.
From the above, baking soda is used as an antacid. It becomes basic when used with water because it gets attached with OH- ions. They carry out neutralization reaction to neutralize excess of HCl in our stomach which relieves us. Otherwise, they are Magnesium hydroxide- Mg(OH)2 and Aluminum Hydroxide- Al(OH)3.
