It is given that the milk tank is in the form of a cylinder whose radius is 1.5m and length is 7m.

It is clear that Length of milk tank = height of the cylinder

Now,

Radius of the cylinder =1.5 m and height of the cylinder =7 m

We know that the volume of the cylinder =πr

2

h. Therefore, volume of the milk tank is:

πr

2

h=

7

22

×(1.5)

2

×7=22×2.25=49.5 m

3

We know,

1 m

3

=1000 liters

So,

49.5 m

2

=49,500 liters

Hence, 49,500 liters of milk can be stored in the tank.
