To have standard form of any rational number you have to see the common factors between the denominator and the numerator. So in this question we have -112\114. So they both are even numbers and that means they are divisible by 2. So we will divide both of them by 2. This is:

-112÷2=(-56)

114÷2= 57

Now we will check if they still have common factors:

By three- (-56) is not divisible and 57 is divisible

we can't do it with three so as we keep going on and on ; if there is no common factors left then that means the fraction is in its simplest form or standard form...
