112×98 short trick for this multiplication.

= (100 + 12)(100-2)

Using formula---

( x + a ) ( x + b ) = x^2 + ( a +b )x + ab

100^2 + ( 12 - 2)100 + 12*-2

= 10000 + 1000 - 24

= 11000 - 24

= 10976 Ans..

add 98+12 and 112-2

 common answer will come = 110  [add two zeroes more 110]

∴ 11000

multiply 12×2= 24 and subtract it from 11000

answer will come 10976.
