ANSWERS :-

15/22

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the numerator be x and denominator be y.

According to the question

y = x+7.............(1)

(x+17)/(y-6) = 2/1 .........(2)...

•from cross multiplication

x+17=2(y-6)

x+17=2y-12

x-2y+29=0

x-2(x+7)+29=0 ...............(from equation 1 , y=x+7)

x-2x-14+29=0

-x+15=0

-x= -15

x = 15

From equation 1:-

y = x+7

y= 15+7

y = 22

So, the original number = 15/22. (Answer)....

I Hope it would help you..... Thank u ^_^
