Length of a tile = 0.2m
Area of 1 tile = 0.2*0.2 = 0.04m²
No. of tiles = 11250 tiles
Area of all the tiles = 11250*0.04 = 450m²
Length of the courtyard = 25m
Let the breadth of the courtyard be b
Therefore, breadth of the courtyard =
25b = 450
b = 450/25
b = 18m
So, breadth of the courtyard is 18m.

Find the number tiles needed for one length:

Number of tiles = 25 ÷ 0.2 = 125

Find the number of rows:

125 tiles = 1 row

11250 tiles = 11250 ÷ 125 = 90 rows

Find the breadth:

one tile = 0.2 m

90 tiles = 0.2 x 90 = 18 m

Answer: The breadth is 18 m
