To find :

  • How many boys are there in the school?

Solution :

  • In the question Ratio of Boys and girls and given and Total number of students in school are 549. so Firstly We will find the value and x and fill the values in the given ratios.

✰ Let Boy's Ratio = 7x

✰ Girl's Ratio = 2x

➤ 7x + 2x = 549

➤ 9x = 549

➤ x = 549/9

➤ x = 61

Girls = 2 × 61 = 122

Boys = 7 × 61 = 427

∴There are 427 boys in school
