substitute 3 in 2

3(13- y ) + y = 7

39 - 3y + y = 7

39 - 2y. =7

-2y = 7 - 39

-2y = -32

therefore y = 16

from 3 I.e., x= 13- 3y

x = 13 -3(16)

x = 13 - 48

x = -35

|x| = |-35|
