12+15+7 cm solution by heron formula

herons formula =a+b+c/2

so. = 12+15+7/2

= 34/2

answer = 17cm

Answer:

  • let the sides be a,b,c

  • first we will find semi perimeter by ÷
  • s=a+b+c÷2
  • i.e. 12+15+7÷2
  • =34÷2 i.e. 17

  1. now we will find the area by herons formula = under root S (s-a)(s-b)(s-c)
  2. 17 (17-12)(17-15)(17-7)
  3. 17×5×2×10
  4. 17×5×2×5×2

  • now we have factorised 10 i.e. 5×2 and now we will do the pairing.
  • there are two pairs i.e. 5 and 2
  • now we will take only one out them from the under root
  • which means = 17×5×2
  • = 170 sq.cm
