  • As per the data given in the question, we have to find the value of the expression.

        Given data:- |12-(-18)+3-(-4)|.

        To find:- Value of given expression.

        Solution:-

  • To solve the above equation we will follow the BODMAS rule.
  • It is the rule used to remember the order of operations to be followed while solving expressions in mathematics.

          where,

               B= bracket

               O= order of power or rules

               D= division

               M= multiplication

               A= addition

               S= subtraction

            |12-(-18)+3-(-4)|\\=12-(-18)+3-(-4) \\=12--18+3-(-4) \\=12+18+3-(-4) \\=12+18+3--4 \\=12+18+3+4 \\=30+3+4 \\=33+4 \\=37.

           Hence we will get the value 37.

To solve : | 12 - (-18 ) + 3 -(-4 ) |

Solution:-

  • To solve the above equation we will follow BODMAS rule.
  • It is the rule used to remember the order of operations to be followed while solving expressions in mathematics.
  • where,

                  \begin{array}{l}\\B= bracket\\\mathrm{O}=\text { order of powers or rules } \\\mathrm{D}=\text { Division } \\\mathrm{M}=\text { multiplication } \\\mathrm{A}=\text { addition } \\\mathrm{S}=\text { subtraction }\end{array}

  • According to above rule we will solve | 12 - (-18 ) + 3 -(-4 ) |
  • As we can see the given problem is given in mod , therefore final answer will be positive .

          | 12 - (-18 ) + 3 - (-4 ) |\\= | 12 + 18 + 3 + 4 | \\= |37 | \\= 37

Hence , correct answer is 37.
