Hey there ! Thanks for the question!
Given,
12 + 21 = 36 ( 3 more than 33 which is actual value)

As there is no term before this. This term would not be considered as a pattern .It's Just for reference.

Now, 22 + 23 = 81 ( but actually it is 45 )
Difference between given and actual numbers = 81 - 45 = 36 .

So, now we observe that, Sum of two numbers in the pattern = Actual value + Result of previous two numbers.

Hence, 32 + 33 = 65 + 81 = 146 .

( or)

There is one more solution to this.

12 + 21 = 36
[( 1 + 2 ) + (2 + 1 ) ]² = 36
( 3 + 3 )² = 36
6² = 36 .

Also, 22 + 23 = 81
[ (2+2) + ( 2 + 3 )]² = 81
[ 4 + 5 ]² = 81
9² = 81

Now,
32 + 33 =
= [ (3+2)+(3+3)]²
= ( 5 + 6 )²
= 11²
= 121 .

As this looks more trustable, 32 + 33 = 121
Hope helped!
