✶ Analysis:

Find the area of the room and each tile. Divide the area of time from the area of room.

✶ Solution:

Length of the room = 12m.

Width of the room = 8m.

Area of the room = 12 × 8 = 96m.

Length of the tile = 50cm.

Breadth of the tile = 30cm.

Area of the tile = 50 × 30 = 1500cm.

As the unit is different from each other, change 1500cm. to metres ie. 15m.

Area of each tile = 15m.

No. of tiles required = 96 ÷ 15 = 6.4m.

Answer:

The total number of tiles required is 640.

640  ടൈലുകളാണ് ആവശ്യമുള്ളത്.

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of the Room =  12m

Breadth of the Room = 8m

∴Area of the room = Length x Breadth

                                = 12 x 8

                                = 96m^{2}

In the question the length ad breadth of the tile is given in centimeters. So we need to change the measures into meters.

Length of the Tile = 50cm

                               = 0.5m

Breadth of the Tile = 30cm

                                = 0.3m

Area of a tile = Length x Breadth

                      = 0.5 x 0.3

                      = 0.15m^{2}

∴Number of Tiles Required = \frac{Area of Room}{Area of a tile}

                                               = \frac{96}{0.15}

                                               = 640 tiles

⇒640 tiles are required.
