Given,

Father's age is three times that of his son.

And after 15 years he will be twice his son's age.

To find out,

The ages of both Father and Son.

According to the question,

Let the age of his son be 'X'.

As it is given,age of father is three times that of his son.

Father's age = 3 of son's age

Father's age = 3X

In 15 years,

Father's age will be twice his son's age.

Son's age = 2(X+15)..........(i)equation

Father's age = 3X+15.......(ii)equation

From both i and ii equations

2(x + 15) = 3x + 15

2x + 30 = 3x + 15

x = 30 - 15

x = 15

Therefore the age of Son is 15 years.

Age of his father = 3X

 = 3(15) + 15

 =45

Therefore age of his father is 45 years.
