Let one part by x.

Then, second part = x+10

Ratio = 5:3

x+10/x = 5/3

3(x+10) = 5*x

3x+30 = 5x

5x-3x = 30

2x = 30

x = 30/2

x = 15

Number = x+x+10 = 2x+10 = 2*15+10 = 30+10 = 40 Ans

One part = x = 15 Ans

Second part = x+10 = 15+10 = 25 Ans
