1. The cost of painting the room at the rate of 6.50 per m² is Rs. 3900

2. The number of tiles required to tile the floor is 20.

3. The cost of the tilling the floor is Rs.180

Given that,

The room has a measurements as 30 m long , 20m wide and 6 m height

We know that,

1. To find the cost of painting the room at the rate of 6.50 per m² we have to find the curved surface area of the room

= 2h(l+w)

= 2(6)(30+20)

= 12 (50)

= 600 m²

To paint = 600 × 6.50 = Rs. 3900

2. The floor is to be tiled

The floor is rectangle

The measurements are length = 30m and breadth = 20m

The area of the floor is 30 × 20 = 600 m² = 60000 cm²

The area of the tile is 60 × 50 = 3000 cm²

= \frac{60000}{3000}

= 20

3. The cost of the tilling the floor is 20 × 9 = Rs.180
