a = 2(lb+lh+hb)

SOLUTION:

∴ area of cuboid = 2(lb+lh+hb)

A=2(40×25 + 40×15 + 25×15)

A=2(1000 + 600 + 375)

A=2×1975

A=3950 cm²

∴ area of 80 cloth = 3950×80

                              = 316000 cm²

∴ measurement  of  meters of a cloth of width 50cm is required to cover 80 such suitcases​ = $\frac{316000}{50}$

                         = 6320 cm²
