The cos of one tin of oil is given as 48 2/5

Converting into improper fraction

so, 242/5

The cost of one tin of oil = 48.5

He bought 6 tins so,

= 6 × 48.5

= 290.4

He has to pay Rs.290.4

Hope this helps you....
