Time taken by the second aeroplane to travel a distance of 3300 km is 3 h 18 min.

• Distance travelled by thr first plane = 3300 km

Time taken by the first plane = 3 h

∴Speed of the first train = distance / time

=> Speed of the first train = 3300 km / 3 h

Or, speed of the first train = 1100 km/h

• According to the question,

Speed of the second aeroplane = (1100 - 100) km/h = 1000 km/h

Distance travelled = 3300 km

∴Time taken by the second aeroplane = distance / speed

=> Time taken by the second aeroplane = (3300 km) / (1000 km/h)

=> Time taken = 3.3 hours

• Now, 3.3 h = 3 h + 0.3 h

=> 0.3 h = 0.3 × 60 min

=> 0.3 h = 18 min

Therefore, 3.3 h = 3 h 18 min

=> Time taken by the second aeroplane = 3 h 18 min
