It is one of the most popular and an important Campaign in The Indian History. This Campaign was introduced by our ownrable Prime Minister - Mr. Narendra Modi on 2nd October 2014. It was launched for the Honour of Mahatma Gandhi. As we need a Clean India Campaign from the History even because one Mahatma Gandhi Said " Sanitation Is More Important Than Independence ". This means even before getting independent this sanitation was a major problem in our country. For this Clean India Campaign Narendra Modi got an award of " Global Goalkeeper " from Gates foundation of Clean India Mission.
Features of Clean India Campaign :
As I already told you that from Gandhi ji's point of view Sanitation and cleanliness is important from past even. It is active till now 2019. It creates sense of Cleanliness and sanitation among the people from Cities to Rural areas. Now there is proper management of garbage. In Clean India Campaign we achieved proper management of Toilets, Drinking Water, And pollution even. There had been a great improvement in the Rural areas too

Clean India mission or "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan" was a government programme it is launched by our current PrimeMinister of India Sri Narenda modi ji on 2014 at NewDelhi and this mission was active till 2019. The mission was of 4 years. The main motivation of this mission to make our India clean before 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi ji.
The mission was started to work starting from our house, streets, roads, cities, urban and rural area of our country. They started to make a group of mmembers and also started cleaning the places and take our the wastes on roads, some people started cleaning waste nearby the rivers.
This "Clean India mission" is not only for homes, our surroundings. This mission is also taken care by the school, college students as part of the school and collages. Students were requested to help to make our surroundings clean. They are advised to make their surroundings clean and avoid throwing papers and plastics or wastes on the ground.
Students were taught bout the cleanliness, to protect our nature, human environment (neat) and (clean). Also they were told about that cleanliness makes them free from diseases. Students in many schools made posters to save environment as well there was marathon running contest program to motive people bout this program to save environment.
