Correct Question :-

Construct right angled triangle, where ∠P = 90°, QR =5.2cm and PQ=4.6 cm.

\:

\dashrightarrow Steps :-

  • First, draw a line segment PQ of 4.6 cm
  • Next, take a protractor and keep it's mid-point on the point P and draw a ray measuring 90°.
  • Then, take a compàss and measure it as 5.2 cm and kee it's tip on point Q and draw an arc on the ray.
  • Now, join the point Q to the point where the ray and the arc meets. Name it as point R.
  • Finally, the triangle is constructed.

\:

\dashrightarrow Instruments used :-

  • Ruler :- The ruler is used to draw the line segments of accurate measurements and also the drawn lines should be straight always.
  • Protractor :- The protractor is used to draw the rays of accurate measurements of degrees. It's also used to measure the angles given.
  • Compàss :- The compàss is used to draw the arcs on the ray by taking the correct measurements as given in the question.
