We can have the variable C represent the cost of one book so:

12C = 1800

We have to separate the variable so we divide 1800 by 12 to find the value of C:

C= 1800/12

C = 150

Since we know the value of C we can multiply C by 3 to see how much it costs to but 3 copies of the book

3 x C = ?

3 x 150 = 450

It costs 450 rupees to buy 3 books

I hope this helps!!! Please vote for this a the brainliest answer!
