The dimensions of the cuboidal block is 20cm×15cm×5cm

The surface area of the cuboidal block is 950 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

total cubical blocks = 12

number of cubes in each row = 4

total number of rows = 3

side of the cube = 5 cm

so, the length of the cuboidal block = 5×4 = 20 cm

the breadth of the cuboidal block = 5×3= 15 cm

and height = 5 cm

so, the dimensions of the cuboidal block is 20cm×15cm×5cm

the surface area of the cuboidal block = 2(lb+bh+hl)

where l,b,h are length, breadth and height of the cuboidal block

l= 20 cm

b=15 cm

h= 5 cm

then, the surface area = 2(20×15+15×5+5×20)

= 2( 300+75+100)

=2(475)

=950 cm²

hence ,

the surface area of the cuboidal block is 950 cm²
