Given:-

Durgesh has 3 boxes of fruit. {Box ।, ।।, ।।।}

Box | contains 1/2kg more than box |||.

Box ||| contains 2 1/2 kg less than Box ||.

Total weight = 146 1/2 kg.

Let the weight of box || be x kg.

So ,

Box ||| contains (x - 2 1/2) kg fruits.

And,Box | contains 1/2+(x-2 1/2) kg fruits.

Now,

According To the Question,

x + {1/2 + (× - 2 1/2)} + {(× - 2 1/2)} = 146 1/2.

=》 x+1/2+x-5/2+x-5/2 = 293/2

{Converting into improper fraction}

=》 3x+1/2-10/2 = 239/2.

=》 3x-9/2 = 239/2.

=》 3x = 239/2+9/2.

=》 3x = 248/2.

=》 3x = 124.

=》 x = 124/3.

=》 x = 31.33 [Approx]

So weight of box || is 31.33 kg,

Weight of box |||

= 31.33 - 5/2 = 61.66/2 = 30.83 kg

Weight of box |

= 1/2+30.83 = 60.425 kg.

Hope it helps!!
