As the formula of area of eq. triangle is = ➡

 \huge \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}  \:  \times  {side}^{2}

NOW:-

i)

side =12cm

 area \: of \:  \triangle \:  =  \:  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}  \times  {12}^{2}  \\  =  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{ \cancel{4}}  \times 12 \times  \cancel{12} \\    = 12 \sqrt{3}  {cm}^{2} \\ = 20.78 {cm}^{2}</p><p>

ii)

side = 5 cm

area \: of \: \triangle \:  =  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}  \times  {5}^{2}  \\  =   \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}  \times 5 \times 5 \\  =   \frac{25 \sqrt{3} }{4}  {cm}^{2} \\ =  10.82 {cm}^{2}
