12. Find the area of the given quadrilateral ABCD. The diagonals BD and AC
measure 16 m and 12 m, respectively and bisect each other at right
angles.​

let be ABCD Is a quadrilateral and AC and BD are the diagonal and it bisect each other at right angle at O.

such that

AO = OC

OB= OD

we have

AC= 16cm

OA= 8 cm.=OC

BD= 12cm.

OB= OD= 6cm.

in ∆AOB

(AB)²= OA²+ OB²

AB²= 8²+6²

AB²=64+36

AB²= 100

AB= √100

AB= 10cm.

hence the side of quadrilateral is 10cm.and it is rhombus so all sides are 10cm.
