Answer. pH of a solution is a measure of the H+ concentration in a solution. Lesser the pH, more acidic is the solution. Thus, rain water of city B is more acidic. If the pH value of rainwater A is assumed as 6, then the concentration of hydrogen in rainwater with pH value 6 is 10 ^ -6 molecules/litre of hydrogen ions. The concentration of hydrogen in rainwater with pH value 5 in rainwater B is 10 ^ -5 molecules/litre of hydrogen ions. Thus, the ratio will be 6:5.
