12. In the below figure, ABCD is a parallelogram; AB = 10 cm; BM = 8 cm and DL = 6 cm, then
find AD.

Area of parallelogram =DL*AB

6*10=60cm²

Now we take base=AD and height = BM

Area of parallelogram =AD*BM

60=AD*8

AD=60/8

AD=7.5cm
