Solution:-

As it is given in the question that,

12 jugs -------> 7/11 of tank --(1)

and also, to completely fill the tank we needed

(12 + 6) jugs +12 glasses -------> 1 tank --(2)

From equation (1),

we find out that,

1 tank ------> 12×11/7 jugs

= 132/7 jugs

On comparing (1) & (2),

18 jugs + 12 glasses -----> 132/7 jugs

12 glasses -----> 132/7-126/7 jugs

12 glasses -----> 6/7 jugs

1 jug -----> 12×7/6 glasses

1 jug -----> 14 glasses

Hence,

to fill the tank of water only with glasses we need,

= (18 × 14) glasses + 12 glasses

= (252 + 12) glasses

= 264 glasses.
