Weight of 12 mangoes = 2.4 kg
=) weight of 1 mango = 2.4/12
=) weight of 8 mangoes = 2.4/12 × 8
= 24/120 × 8
= 1/5 × 8
= 8/5 = 1.6 kg
Hence the weight of 8 mangoes is 1.6 kg.
