So work done by 1 man and 1 woman together will be:

1/288 + 1/360

So by 8 men and women together becomes

8/288 + 8/360

1/36+ 1/45 = 5/180 + 4/180

9/180 = 1/20

This is the work done in 1 day by 8 men and women together.

Therefore they will take 20 days to complete the work.
