(12p^3 - 8p) = 4p(3p^2 - 2)

then ,

[4p(3p^2 - 2)]/4p

= 3p^2 - 2

to divide (12p³ - 8p) ÷ 4p

Taking out 4p as common factor in (12p³ - 8p),
we have,

 \frac{ {12p}^{3} - 8 }{4p}  \\  \\  \frac{4p(3 {p}^{2} - 2) }{4p}
Cancelling 4p in the numerator and denominator,

we have the solution as ,


( {3p}^{2}  - 2)
