Air contains mostly nitrogen and oxygen The remaining 1% (by volume) is shared by argon,

carbon dioxide, other noble gases, oxides of nitrogen and sulphur etc., in the decreasing order.

Dust particles, water vapours and smoke are also present in the air. Air is present in soil and water

also.
