x= total no. of employes
x-264 = female employes
x-264 =  \frac{12}{100}    x
100x - 26400 = 12x
88x = 26400
x = 26400/88
x = 300

total no. of employes = 300
female employes = 300 - 264 = 36

If 12 %of employers are female then 88% of employers will brake that means 264. Let x be the total number 9f employers then
(264/x) X 100=88
26400=88x
x = 26400/88 = 300
Therefore the total number of employers are 300. Let y be the number of females present in the factory then,
300-264=y=36
The number of females is 36.
