According to the question:

★Volume of each sphere = Volume of cylinder/12

→ 4/3 πr³ = πr²h ÷ 12

→ 4/3 × 22/7 × r³ = 22/7 × 1 × 1 × 16 × 1/12

→ r³ = 1

→ r = √1

→ r = 1 cm

Then,

★ d = 2r

→ d = 2 × 1

→ d = 2 cm

Hence,

• Diameter of each sphere is 2 cm.
