for X valency and charge is zero. as it has only 2 electrons in its valence shell.

for Y Electronic configuration is 2,8,1

so its valency is 1. it can loss 1 electron to gain stability. hence, it will acquire a charge of +1.

for Z similarly Electronic Configuration is 2,8,7

its valency is also 1. but in order to be stable it needs to gain a single electron hence it will acquire (-1) charge.
