Fery's Black Body contains a conical projection which is used to prevent the reflected radiations to escape outside.
- In physics , a perfect black body is defined as an object that can absorb all the energy from the radiations incident on it.
- Fery's Black Body is an example of a near- perfect black body.
- As we can see from the diagram , the conical projection is reflecting the incident light ray in such a manner that the the reflected ray undergoes several other reflections within the black body and doesn't escape from it.
- Due to this multiple reflection almost 99% of the incident energy can be absorbed.
Hope It Helps.
