Let breadth be B

Length be L

Given L = b + 8

Perimeter = 2(L + B) = 128

1 + b = 64

b + 8 + b = 64

2b = 56

b = 28

1 = 8 + 28 = 36

Hope it helps!

Answer:

Let the breadth be x .

then the length will be x+8

we know that the perimeter of the rectangle is

2 (L+b)

2( x+8+x)=128

2(2x+8)=128

4x+16=128

4x=128-16

4x=112

x=112/4

x= 28

we got breadth as 28 m and length will be :-

x+8

= 36 m

hence , the length of the rectangle is 36 m and breadth is 28 m .
